The new start up league went out and understood the need for a good coach, Ralph needs to take notice. Then again how much does a 90 year old notice. Nothing is going to change until he is gone. Do you realize that he has coached part or all of 7 seasons in the NFL with only 2 winning seasons and his coaching record is 47-61? He has had 2 winning seasons and one playoff appearance. He had some pretty talented teams too while he was in NO. He looks like Dick Jauron part 2. What about his record would lead anyone to think that he could be successful here? And, as the DC for the Rams, then interim HC, he was passed over by the Rams for their HC position. There's a reason for that... he flat out sucks. He's the anti Jauron, alienates players and makes life miserable for them. Has the my way or the highway approach. If Ralph wants to spend, he will have no problem getting a proven winner like Shany, Cowher or Billick. More likely is the retread pile like Morningwig or Ken Venturi.
