Smoking Ban In Military Proposed

Of course, that annual payment doesn't cover hospital stays, etc., but I honestly like your doctor's thinking. And forget my doctor; it'd be worth it just for my wife's ObGyn.

Though admittedly, while we may need to wait a few weeks to see a dermatologist or some other specialist, we sail right through with something even remotely life-threatening. I have a friend who came here from Canada (and actually just became an America a couple of weeks ago. His brother, still in Canada, is in need of a heart bypass, and has been in the Canadian healtchare queue for the past year and is still waiting. My friend, on the other hand, was diagnosed with prostate cancer five weeks ago, and goes in for surgery tomorrow.

Right--that plan doesn't work at all for specialists. But it works well for the family practitioner, especially if your average waitlist for the family doc extends out to a couple weeks.

We must have some kind of uber-health care. If need be, my wife, myself and my son (all three of us have different primary care docs) can get in to see them in less than 48 hours, sooner if we don't mind seeing one of our primary's partners.

I get into my family doc in an hour if need be. I don't understand why you guys take so long.

There's more demand for regular doctors, which makes it harder for us to get appointments.

Midget care, on the other hand, is a real niche.
