Probably no takers. Teams are getting very stingy with their picks nowadays - even 4th or 5th rounders.

firstly, shame on the Bills for trying to trade a game breaker & starting position maker like Roscoe

secondly, shame on the rest of the teams for not recognizing this and refusing to pony up even a 4th rounder.

hey what do you know, maybe Bellicheat will come up with some sort of offer for him and we'll be stupid enough to give Roscoe away too!

clearly there wasn't a lot of interest because he is making more than he is worth and has little to no value as a WR. this is why he will have to play out his bloated contract as a PR only with the bills. he can thank drew rosenhaus for that one.....

has any hered anything else about him on the trading block any more?

Don't worry, if Roscoe is on the official "salary dump" list, he will get dumped, sooner or later. The season doesn't start for 5 more months, plenty of time to snag that 6th or 7th rounder for him.

That is a terrible truism. I like Roscoe he shows up for work, works hard, and is the single best guy at his position in the universe. Why is a mystery, but, we will dump him, it seems like the word has come down to Brandon who will again toss Ralph's salad.

alright so lets say we do keep him who gets cut then?

We can all agree that Justin Jenkins is a gonner so if Roscoe stays that would leave u with

1a. Evans

1b. T.O.

3. Reed

4. Roscoe

5a. Johnson

5b. Hardy

Do we really keep 6 WRs?

We drafted some versitile OL thsi year so maybe they plan on keeping one less hog up front so be able to hold onto 6 WRs.

Hate to say it, Reed walks the plank maybe. Or Hardy.

Or they justify keeping Roscoe as a Special teamer not a receiver, and maybe find a long snapper somewhere else on the team??

Reed is not going anywhere! The man has become the most dependable, most all-around (blocking) wr on the team. Hardy is safe for at least 1 more year, teams don't give up on a 2nd rounder that soon. If anyone other than Parrish, it could be Johnson. Everyone on this board raves about him, but he hasn't had enough action to prove himself yet. However, Johnson has much more to grow as a wr, Parrish is what he is, a great return guy with other great return guys on the team (McKelvin, McGee). Sorry, but it appears Parrish is the odd man out.

OK, let's get one thing straight, most NFL teams have more than 5 wide receivers on the roster. There's no magic line that says the Bills have to cut someone. Hardy might not even be ready to go at the beginning of the season, so what's the plan, go in with 4 receivers and an injured Hardy?

You are either smoking crack or you havn't been keeping up. Reed isn't going anywhere, he is a player that is on the rise, and will end up being one of our more valuable offensive players this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he led the team in receptions this year, with Evans and T.O getting a lot of the attention. Reed in my view will end up being an upper echelon slot receiver in this league.

In regards to keeping 6 WR's, I think it is a very distinct possibility. If the rumours are true, and that we will be going with a 1 back alignment this year, then that very well could mean that we may not keep any FB's on the roster. In essence there would be an additional roster spot, and the WR spot could be the beneficiary of that move.

This is the mistake Cutler made: thinking that any player is above a trade discussion. I'm a big Parrish fan, and hope he remains a Bill in 2009. But Brandon and company should be looking at ANY possibility to improve the team. I'd say "shame on the Bills" if they weren't entertaining offers.

With that said, the notion he is still a Bill because there wasn't interest is likely absurd, as well. I'm guessing there were offers, but they weren't good enough for the Bills, and didn't improve the team. Obviously, Parrish isn't going to command a high draft pick, and anything less than a 3rd rounder is simply not good enough to make the deal. If the Bills deal Parrish, it should be for a player that will make a difference/impact on the field, in 2009, IMO. You know Parrish will be making an impact on the field for whatever team gets his services, even if they only use him on ST.
