"Thou shall not enjoy oneself when the wife is not present" might as well have been in the vows at our wedding. Oh Dude are you ever preaching to choir!!! This just had me dying laughing. Headin' there tomorrow, baby! Stayin at the Paris for the weekend...and eating at my favorite restaurant, Nobu, at the Hard Rock on Sunday. Rubes, enjoy it young man. I am not a sushi guy, but ate at that restaurant last time in Vegas, and it was just out of this world. Stl Bills Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 Don't place back to back $3500 bets when you are playing black jack and are up about 10k...........I won $2500 and I left the table feeling like I had just been kicked in the nutts. Oh what could have been. I got off the damn plane, lost $100 at the MGM in about 10 minutes and then took out another $100 and said "this is is for today.....went and sat down at a table and couldn't lose, within 2 hours I had aprox 10k (maybe even a little more) and then in 2 hands 3/4s of it was gone...... Cheap booze, cheap food and free entertainment. They pour enourmous $5 margaritas at sidewalk stands. Some of the street performers are quite good. Last time I went I had the most fun there. A couple hours in you guys will be drunk, raising hell all over that place. Just have fun.....and use the buddy system so nobody comes wondering back to the hotel the next morning talkin bout some hooker they picked up that they "thought was a hot Chick". You have some pretty big stones placing bets like that. Last year I saw a guy put down a grand, lost that, put down 2 grand, got 7s against dealers 6, split the 7s & doubled down on one of the hands with a 10(7/3). So he has 6 grand on this hand. He pulls to 6s & stays with a 13 & a 16. You just know what is coming next. Dealer pulls a 4 & an ace for 21. Looked like the guy was going to burst out crying right at the table. Like I said ended up winning $2500 but I still felt like a big piece of crap.....I wouldn't ever bet like that around Casino's here but Vegas has a way of making you do some crazy sh--. PTR Yes - I agree - I always stay on the strip but one night is dedicated to going to Fremont St. The hourly light show, in my opinion, is the most impressive thing in Vegas. Look at the hands. Almost all guys have a longer ring finger than index finger. In women they are about the same length or the index finger is longer. I have been noticing that it is true. The best thing is to look between the legs. If there is a pecker its most likely a guy. Vagina is a pretty reliable tell tale sign its a girl. Hell..with surgery these days you still don't know!
