Boley a NY Giant

Recommended Posts

02/28...The New York Giants and Falcons LB Michael Boley have agreed to terms one what is expected to be a five-year, $25 million contract...the deal is now “done,” according to one source familiar with the talks. NYDaily

More great news! Different team... :w00t:

You're upset about the Bills not showing interest in a player who was replaced in the starting lineup by Coy Wire. ;)

LaBatt Blue. I dont know what exactly happened with Boley and the Falcons this year. But having watched him in 06 and 07 he can play. Watch him become a very very good LB in NY. He is what we hoped Keith Ellison would have been. And he made twice as many taclkes this year as Coy Wire. So maybe Coy was in there the first play of the game but Boley was a heck of a lot more productive.

Yeah Brooking did become a FA. Rumor has it ATL offered him like 2.5mil. He refused. HIs stats are not bad. But he is known as "the six yard sheriff" in Atlanta. His tackles all come about 6 yards down the field and afdter the first down is made. He hardly ever makes a big play and definetly not when you need it. The Wild Card games against Arizona was proof of that.

I guess we had better hope for a lot of 3rd and 7s then
