Indy Dave
Has anyone seen any of these movies, and if so, how were they? Cellular The Forgotten Friday Night Lights Ladder 49 Team America Also, has anyone read any reviews for The Grudge? The other movies showing at the theatre by our house are Raise Your Voice, Resident Evil, Shall We Dance, Shark Tale, Shaun of the Dead, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Surviving Christmas and Taxi. I either haven't heard of these movies or don't want to see them, but feel free to comment on them if you've seen them. I could change my mind. Zona
I saw Ladder 49. It was a decent movie, although EXTREMELY predictable. My son knew the entire movie before we bought the tickets, thats just from the previews. BTW- he is only 12.... Haven't seen the others yet.... stuckincincy
"Team America" is extremely gross. It had a good story, but the gratuitious filthy language and "puppet porking" and homosexual acts makes me not recommend it. Too bad...what were they thinking? Kelly the Dog
Friday Nights Lights is pretty good, IMO, not great. Enjoyable, but the book was way, way better, as expected. And it was a lot of style over substance. The best two films I have seen this year are "Garden State", and "The Motorcyce Diaries", if they are playing, although they arent mainstream films. Now you figure I would like a football movie, but here is the clincher. My wife does not watch football, does not LIKE football, only tolerates football. She loved the movie. After seeing a heartbreaker loss at Brockport, then this movie, and then some of the Bills/Dolphins game, she is actually considering going to the Ralph next year. I guess what I am saying is that Friday Night Lights can appeal to football and non-football fans too!

Dante
Indy Dave. The only two I have seen are "Forgotten" which I reviewed here http://205.134.161.85/forums/index.php?showtopic=4266&hl= and" Team America". Great movie if you despise(like myself) condesending, elitist celebraties that abuse thier "status" by trying to influence politics. It was worth the price of admission alone to see that fat slob, left wing socialist Mike Moore blow himself up terrorist style. If you enjoy South Park you will really like this movie. ajzepp
Not sure if this helps.....but what the heck -Cellular......B.....good pace, interesting, popcorn flick. -Garden State.....A....solid acting, genuine characters -Team America.....B+.....crude, funny, over the top, and bitingly satirical -Friday Night Lights.....B.....if you've ever played HS football, you'll like it -Sky Captain....B-.....nice special effects/cinematography, story is O.K. -Resident Evil 2...C....had moments of interest, but nothing worth the $8 -Godsend.....F.....sorry, this was out a while ago.....I'm still not over it.....I can't believe that DeNiro and Kinnear made this piece of crap. It's one of the top ten worst movies I've ever seen in my life.
