My Laundry Stinks by Blind Willie McRock

(to the tune of Ice Cream Man)

Well my laundry stinks

because I left it in the washer too long.

I said my laundry stinks

because I left it in the washer too long.

I tried so hard to love you

but you pinched your nose, now you're gone.

I tried juice from tomatoes,

Vinegar,

Nick Tahoes and Febreeze too.

I said my laundry stinks

because I left it in the washer too long.

I'm gonna end it right here because

this is one silly song!

Take the Sunday n'paper Best Buy and HH Gregg ads, shred them and put them into the washer with your detergent.

That should remove the stink...

Seriously, depending on frequency and residence time of leaving damp clothes in a washer, some mold can build up in the nooks and crannies of the washing chamber. Spray it down with some Lysol (the drum and under the housing that makes the top interior surface of the wash chamber, put in about a gallon of water after five minutes or so to insure that the bottom shaft seal doesn't get affected, and let the rest sit overnight, then splash some water or squirt if you've a hose to rinse. - several times.

Activate the washer on the lowest water level to take that to drain. When that's done, set the controls for maximun water volume and add a 1/2 cup of bleach. Let it cycle and go to drain.
