Wether he is playing against 1st or 2nd string D's is not really important either. He is getting time on the field, honing his ability to make a read and with every down is gaining the trust and respect of his team mates. That is whats important. Numbers do not lead a team, people do. Like it or not (I happen to like it) JP is our starter for now and IMHO he is doing all the right things both on and off the field. It sounds as though Turk is doing a good job with JP. If JP can continue to improve (as he has this pre-season), it could be an exciting year.
