JP #1 in passer rating

The numbers mean nothing at this point. His play on the field means everything. Wether he is playing against 1st or 2nd string D's is not really important either. He is getting time on the field, honing his ability to make a read and with every down is gaining the trust and respect of his team mates. That is whats important. Numbers do not lead a team, people do.

Like it or not (I happen to like it) JP is our starter for now and IMHO he is doing all the right things both on and off the field. If you keep your expectations at a reasonable level he will meet them or even exceed them.

Really interesting article in the News this morning. Don't have any idea if it will translate to the field, and a lot of times it's total garbage, but this kind of stuff is fascinating to me.

That is a very interesting article. It sounds as though Turk is doing a good job with JP.

If JP can continue to improve (as he has this pre-season), it could be an exciting year. The regular season will be the test for him and the rest of the team.
