I can't wait for Losman to be the starting QB

Since Donahoe became GM, Buffalo sports talkshow hosts,

Buffalo's sportwriters and thousands and thousands

of fans have bemoaned how Bills football has become

boring, dull, unentertaining, and frustrating to

watch.

When Flutie played for the Bills, he always kept me on

the edge of my seat in anticipation of what magic he

was going to pull off next. I can't say that about any

of his successors so far!

FLUTIE LOVES THE GAME OF

FOOTBALL and KNOWS THAT THE BUSINESS OF FOOTBALL IS

ALL ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT...he had Buffalo buzzing with

football excitement. Every Bills QB since Flutie has

been absolute Dullsville. They have given little

outward indication on the field that they love playing

football...to them it seems to be just a job!

It is a travesty that Ralph Wilson,Donahoe and

Williams ran Flutie out of town. Look up Eric Mould's

stats. He had most of the best games/performances of his

career when Flutie was the QB.

Flutie and Johnson played behind the same Offensive

Line, but the results were like night and day. Those

who are blaming the Bills Oline as the source of all

of Bledsoe's poor performances have short memories.

Flutie is a field general. If you saw come in off the bench to the SD vs. Jets game last Sunday with 5 min. left, and engineer a long TD drive, you can see that he has tons more field savvy than Bledsoe ever will....Five minutes to put together a scoring drive...something that Bledsoe couldn't do in 7 full games last year!

Flutie always brings elements of the unpredictable on to the field as part of his game plan...something that Bledsoe is not capable of because he is a statue standing in cement shoes.

From the little that I have seen J.P. Losman play, he

impresses me as being a lot like Flutie in his style

of play...I don't think that Losman is wearing #7 as a coincidence.

For me, Losman cannot get healthy fast enough

so that Dreadful Bedsore Deadsoe can be benched

FOREVER from ever playing another game in a Bills

uniform.

I've thought Losman was a highbred of Flutie and Johnson....

He will be exciting...

Flutie fans need to remember how he LOST 8 GAMES IN A ROW playing in San Diego....and how defenses have learned to SHUT HIM DOWN COMPLETELY.....if a team has time to game plan he's not that good...check his wins/losses as a QB since leaving Buffalo....not good....

He's a great "change of pace guy" & I'd love to have him as a BACKUP but his starting days are over....anyone thinking otherwise is fooling themselves....

Losman will energize this team like Flutie did because he can move and still make plays......hopefully he'll get his leg healed and back on the field....

we shall see what the future holds......

I agree, except that there never was a day when Doug Flutie was fit to start in the league. The guy is nothing but a media whore, and he plays them like fiddle. There was a time when I too thought he was a gift from the gods, but after a while it became clear to me that doug flutie only cares about 1 thing, and that is doug flutie. Plus, he's an a$$holio: I ran into him during his last year with the bills while he was at Eastview Mall by himself, walking around and shopping bc he was injured while everyone else was at practice. To make a long story short he's not the nice guy everyone makes him out to be, the guy who cares about the fans first and foremost.

Theres nothing I lov emore than when SD puts him in only to watch him struggle to play like the player he thinks he is, fail, then blame everyone else.

i feel like i've been spammed. i thought i was getting onto a jp post and i end up reading this flutopian brainwash stevestojan.

flutie=rj

they both $ucked.

that was many years ago. he is not coming back. take the flutie poster down from the ceiling above your bed and move on.

jp wearing #7 is nothing more than a coincidence.

he is not taking medicine to help shrink his body to 5'8" so he can be more like your 'hero'

jp does not play in a stevestojanny band with his brother and homo lovers

he does not love Wegmans' subs

and most importantly- flutie was and is not a winner

Yup. That's why as a starter, Flutie's record was 20-12.

Flutie is one of the best off the bench backups in the NFL if not the best. But as a starter the defenses know how to shut him down.

Yes that's correct. In Buffalo he benefitted from a top ranked defense that held opponents routinely to under 13 points. That really helped a Flutie run offense that scored rarely scored more than 13 a game. And when the defense couldn't hold the opponent under 13, they usually helped out by scoring some points of their own.

Of course, it wasn't until he got to San Diego with a lesser defense that his 22-10 mark evened up and went negative really quickly. Currently, his record in games in which he has played is now 30-34. YAWN.
