Honestly, I don’t like her or dislike her.  She’s an idiot but leaves me alone as long as I do my job.  She’s also missing a finger which is very distracting bc I can help but look at it when she’s around.  
 

A couple years ago the day before Thanksgiving break she popped into my office to wish me a happy turkey day.  She proceeded to tell me that while she was taking her turkey out of the freezer to thaw, she found her cat in there that had “disappeared” years ago.  😂

Let me put my situation into perspective......

 

my experience in our field..........39 years

my bosses experience in our field...........1 year

 

The guy is 30 years old.........i've been doing this longer than he's even been alive. My problem is that he won't listen to anything, thinks he's the smartest one in the room and tries to re-invent the wheel. He believes that everything that comes out of his mouth is just pure genius. I am constantly telling him that not every idea, is a good idea. He's completely oblivious to everything.

I got my yearly raise from the company this week.........4% increase.........last year was 8%

 

The boss made it no big secret 2 weeks ago that he was penny pinching to inflate his yearly bonus
