Dolphins had a few extra days against Buffalo, and Falcons off the bye week.

That's right, the Falcons were off their bye...pats will be too next week...there are a lot of random variables that absolutely could impact how the team is being so inconsistent week to week, which as long as you're not the 7 seed playing the 1 in the divisional assuming you win, are not there in the playoffs.

Does anyone remember that San Diego Chargers team that finished both first in total Offense and Defense, but somehow still missed the playoffs at 9-7?

What year was that?  Was that under Marty Schottenheimer, Bobby Ross,  Mike McCoy, or maybe Norv Turner as head coach?

Yes. Quite literally the WORST ST'S OF ALL TIME.  Their is a great video on Youtube that is absolutely BAFFLING, that that team was sank that much by ST's.  Sure they're important, but my God, you're talking about such a small percentage of plays in a game.  Had their ST's been even just as bad as 32nd from any other normal year, they would've made a helluva run at minimum lol

“Utterly destroyed by the Texans.” You do know we had more yards than the Texans, right?  The turnovers were killers. We had a legitimate chance to win the game. Would a win have been a little fluky?  Sure. But it was nowhere near being utterly destroyed.

LOL We're fantasy football champs that week!!!!

We had more yards... if "only" we did the #1 most important in football, protect the ball we could've won!!!

If only our OL had not allowed a 4 man rush to live in our backfield all day, grrrrr, we woulda got them.

If only we didnt have 4 WR's who traded out their shadow for a CB... we wouldve had a passing game.

If only the most impotent offense in recent memory were impotent'er, we wouldve shut them out.

WE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED S*** THAT GAME.  THERE ISN'T 1 REDEEMING QUALITY ABOUT THAT GAME EXCEPT 'THE SCORE LOOKS CLOSE'.

ITS HARD TO THINK OF A GAME WE WERE DOMINATED HARDER IN, IN THE LAST 3 YEARS, THAN THAT ONE RIGHT THERE.

Pure unadulterated hopium smoking.  That game should've been 100 - 0.  We didn't do anything that prevented it, other than the Texans offense playing even worse than they already are... that had nothing to do with us, and everything on them.
