If you can become a Davante Adams-lite route runner, you have a high ceiling.

And for the 1000 time mcconkey is the better receiver whether he is lined up as wr 1, wr 2, or slot.  At the end of the day can you play or not. Bills absolutely did not need a player of his skill set. The blue print was already there when they lost with 13 sec. And the blue print was on full display this weekend against the bucs.  Spare me the dt are nt nonsense.

Exactly! Just keep him on his rookie deal and hopefully he matures and becomes Tee Higgins lite. 
 

It is horrible how the only WR Beane drafted in the first 2 days of the draft (rounds 1-3) in his 8 years as GM looks to be a bust. Maybe take a few more shots there bud.

Compare to GB since 2021.

Buffalo - top 3 round WR picks - 1 - 2nd rd pick Coleman (2024); next pick Shakir in the 5th (2022)

Green Bay - top 3 round WR picks - 5 

2025 - Golden 1st rd and Sav Williams 3rd rd

2023 - Reed 2nd rd (plus Wicks in the 5th rd)

2022 - Watson 2nd rd (plus Doubs in the 4th)

2021 - Rodgers 3rd rd

You can try to rationalize any reason you want. Maybe it's Allen missing him on a certain play, maybe it's the style of the offense, maybe it's just a bad day and it's inconsistent. Maybe it's any number of issues....

 

What we know is that it's not working. When he wasn't playing ,not only did it work, it looked awesome!!! And it looked awesome even with Allen being inconsistent & really having like his B- level game...

 

I swear I kept saying years ago how Mike Williams and JP Losman were extremely talented, and it was always another excuse I would try to come up with. Looking back it, they just sucked bro. It wasn't anymore complicated than that.

 

Yes every once in a blue moon you have a player that might start out very slow and then start to emerge, but usually more than not a player is pretty good right away. 

 

Everything with Keon is forcing someone to be something that just isn't there.

 

No amount of squinting and pretending will turn Coleman into Eric Moulds. He's just not that guy

 

 

 

 

 

 

We define suck differently then. To me suck is Aaron Maybin not Chris Kelsey. Has Coleman become the WR we needed, no but at least he contributes on occasion. That's what upsets me with some of the fan base. Is Coleman Eric Moulds not likely but what if he become Donte Stallworth? Who was a cog to some of those Super Bowl teams in New England.  Just because a player doesn't meet certain expectations means they can't play in this league. I'd imagine most here would call Kyle Pitts a bust but you know what he might not be Tony Gonzalez but he's certainly not Tony Hunter.

None of this is happening with Coleman

 

 

If McConkey is so great tell me why the terrible stat line Sunday? Or his games against the Washington or Giants or Denver or Las Vegas? Looks like many of the stat lines we see Coleman produce. But I get it Coleman is trash cuz he getting half the targets McConkey usually gets with half the production.
