Metal Man Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I see lots of people keep pointing to the last place schedule but I'm not sure how much that factors in seeing it is only 3 games. Right now they are 1-1 in those games with the NYG still to go while Buffalo is 1-0 with Houston and Philly still to go so worst case scenario it is only a 1 win advantage for the Pats***. Problem right now is Buffalo lost to them head to head, lost to a team that they beat in Atlanta, and will lose to another team they beat in Tampa if Buffalo can't get it together and take care of business this weekend. Now if the Bills lose the division by 1 game and those 3 games were the difference then maybe there is an argument for the weak schedule thing but as of right now that seems a little overblown to me. May Day 10 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Id also say it is very tough to win all the 'easy' games. That in of itself is a mark of an actually good team. Quote

And just because he won the MVP last year doesn't mean he can't play poorly or even below his own standards. Weird that I'd even need to point that out. 1 Quote

Everyone had declared that the Bills are no longer Super Bowl contenders after one football game. It was that bad. You have posters on this board in another thread predicting an 8-9 final record. If you are not panicking, then you are in the vast minority of Bills fans. Most of us see the start of another decades-long Pats dynasty. They have the QB, the cap space, the coaching, and an owner who is content with nothing less than winning the Super Bowl every year. We have an aging QB who seems disinterested (I'm more than just a football player), a mediocre coach, no cap space, and an owner who wants to sell tickets above all else. You also have the spector of losing multiple home games to Toronto. So yeah, this is a 5-alarm fire. Yeah, it's just football. I get that. But the Bills are a big part of my life, and they are the only attachment that I have left to my hometown. So they mean a lot to me and seeing the window slam shut, probably for the rest of my life (I'm 51 and won't survive another drought) is painful. The word disappointment doesn't even begin to describe it. And no one who could do something seems to care. The owner is only concerned with selling PSL to the 6 homes games he'll play in his new stadium that we paid for and the GM is more concerned with never falling below .500 than winning a SB. And no one, from the owner down to the players, understands how much it hurts all of us to see that team rise. I f it were the Jets of Fins, I wouldn't care. But the Pats? Close your eyes and picture Diggs holding the Lombardi above his head this February. That's not a fantasy, it's a preview because they are BY FAR the best team in the league right now. Why do those Massholes get to win AGAIN!!!!! They always get to win. In all sports. Buffalo gets one team that gets close every decade or so, but never gets it done. It really sucks. Thank you! I live in New England and it sucks to see what has happened in the past 9 months. It truly does feel like 5 years ago except the Bills are the 2020 Pats and the Pats are the 2020 Bills. Check out the ticket prices for the Bills Pats game coming up in Foxboro. Quote

Losing home games to Toronto? Since when are the Bills going to start playing home games in Toronto. That makes no sense especially with the new stadium opening in 2026. Quote

Why else form a partnership with MLSE? https://www.tsn.ca/nfl/maple-leafs-sports-entertainment-enters-into-partnership-with-buffalo-bills-1.2357183 1 1 Quote

The Bills partnered with MLSE who own the Toronto Argonauts in September this year. Something is in the works there. Even Pete Guelli said he sees the team playing a future NFL game in Toronto, especially if the NFL decides to expand its international game offerings to Canada. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/toronto-argonauts-to-host-future-of-football-game-in-partnership-with-the-buffalo-bills 1 Quote
quincy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If I could teleport myself into the voice, mind, body and soul of Terry Pegula during a Bills meeting this week for 15 seconds, I would say to Beane and McDermott, "if the New England Patriots are the AFC champions this year, you both shall be receiving your pink slip on Monday 26 January 2026, am I understood gentlemen?". If New England get to the Super Bowl this year it shows how flawed our processes have been, stalling and treading water at best. Arguments can be made that we already need a fresh start, for me if NE are AFC champions this year that seals the deal. How can year 10 of McDermott be feasible? Last place schedule, fluke season, whatever, even if they are 5-12 next year somehow, NE would have achieved more in ONE season than we have done in 8 years. It is disgusting to be even contemplating thoughts like this, yet here we are. The season is not over and we are still in it, we can lose any given Sunday but the way we lost at Miami was unbearable to see, we cannot be that flat against Tampa. 1 Quote

I have mentioned this in another thread but if I were Terry Pegula I would look at teams who have been very successful with the draft since that is where the foundation of your team is built. The Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs are examples of this. Look at assistant GM's as well as their scouts. We all complain about Beane and McDermott, but the Bills have struck out too many times with their draft picks especially in the early rounds and the Bills scouts need to be held accountable. As for a new HC I would let the new GM make the call on that. But a GM and scouting staff with a history of being successful with the draft is what is needed here. You want a stronger team supporting Allen then this is the way to go about doing that. Edited 1 hour ago by Gregg Quote
