It’s official. Trump is using poor Americans, many of whom voted for him, as pawns in his budget chess game. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/11/07/appeals-allows-november-snap-payments-to-continue-for-now-00643495
Same thing with air travelers. He cares nothing about regular Americans.
Bondi is scum

“Judicial activism at its worst,” she wrote in a post on X slamming McConnell, an Obama appointee. “A single district court in Rhode Island should not be able to seize center stage in the shutdown, seek to upend political negotiations that could produce swift political solutions for SNAP and other programs, and dictate its own preferences for how scarce federal funds should be spent.”

Every single Republican has voted to send out SNAP and almost every Dem has said no. If you disagree with my fact let me know but please just with facts, not your opinion

So, the ultimate definition of liberal socialist policy is redistribution of wealth. When government taxes and gives the proceeds to other citizens in a manner they deem proper.

In Canada it happened with a carbon tax, paid by those who produced carbon or used carbon fuels and was rebated to all citizens, suggesting that the less carbon footprint you left the more you benefited by the rebate.

When that occurred, conservatives, and even Trump, screamed Socialism. Trump hated Trudeau for such socialist policies. His supporters on this site screamed about Canadian socialist government. I agreed.

Fast forward to Nov 8. Trump says tariffs paid by those business who imported goods, sold them and those citizens that paid more or business made less profit gave him the ability to give $2000 checks to citizens. Those who spent less on tariffs benefit more than those who bought tariffs goods.

Sounds like ULTIMATE SOCIALISM to me. The redistribution of wealth. The benevolence of a king.

By the way. Socialist Canada has no food stamp programs.

You don’t have many Haitians either.

“There are limits,” Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters. “We have to be human, but realistic. Canada can’t accept everyone.”

What have Haitians got to do with US socialism in the gop.

You mentioned Canadian carbon tax.  I assumed you rejected the Haitians (partly) because of their carbon footprint on the way from their to your country.

What has that got to do with trump socialism?

If carbon tax rebates were socialism, then isn't tariff tax rebates socialism.

Socialism by the political party who are trying to Make Anerica Great Again.

I think you’re confused.  You specifically mentioned Canada and policies unique to your country several times.  Canadian carbon tax. Canadian rebates. How Trump hated Trudeau.  Canada and d

food stamps.  I mentioned Canada and its socialist approach to Haitian refugees.  Just like the Canadian people don’t seem to want food stamps, they don’t seem to want Haitians.  That’s odd, because Socialist governments would typically embrace immigrants, but maybe they have to be the right kind of immigrant.

Anyway, you don’t want to talk about, I can understand.

Yes, there are elements of our way of life that involved redistribution of wealth.  Taxes.  Foreign aid.  That sort of thing.

One if the main reason you and others voted for maga was the hatred of the devils policies of socialism. And now the great leader becomes a socialist and you have no issue with it,

You could have continued that with Harris.

You maga guys are so phoney...did you vote for policy or just the love for a king.

You are finding out your leader is phoney and afraid to admit it. At least I could say Trudeau was the biggest a?? In Canadian history.

Oh goodness….you’re spiraling with this talk of devils and kings.   Take a breath, secure in the knowledge that after every 936 posts about your neighbor to the south, you come up with a tepid criticism on politics in your own country.   In that regard, Trudeau may be the biggest a$$ in Canadian history, but you seem determined to make a run for the title.  Godspeed.
