I saw an interview with a Republican Congressman on CNBC early this week, talking about the shutdown and specifically, the health care component of it. He mentioned that the Affordable Care Act is seriously flawed, and guaranteed this kind of expense appreciation. On a positive note, he mentioned that there is a bipartisan group that has suggested a number of provisions that would change it, and clean it up to make it work. Again, bipartisan. Not the warfare you see on TV. Get the gov started and go this route, and I think we would be headed in the right direction. Use as a political weapon and we go nowhere. 1
