Here they didn't sell out a game all regular season but they care so much to hang around and boo the trophy presentation. I get it, hockey set the bar for their behavior in other pro sports but it's just weak AF. You have neanderthal Americans booing the Canadian anthem in arenas/stadiums across the country. But Toronto fans are the classless ones. Okay there. Quote

My point is a lot of people just don't understand what a bunch of a$$holes Toronto sports fans can be. The fact that they never sold out a damn baseball game all regular season when they spent a good half of the season in first place and then were so salty about losing the league title speaks VOLUMES about the fan base. THAT is an example where a broad brush is all it takes. You guys weren't even all-in once for 81 home dates. Nope. Not until you thought you were going to get a prize for showing up. If you are going to be fair-weather fans in a sport then take the L just as passively. Quote

I'm not excusing either but my recollection is Canadians did it first - with that said, I have no clue if it was Toronto. If it was the Americans first what was the trigger? Pretty sure I know what the trigger was if it was Canadians first, but that's a topic for the PPP folks. Quote
