nedboy7 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 McAllister, the former U.S. attorney in Kansas, worries about the next administration. With another president like Trump, “D.O.J. could really be destroyed long-term. But I also fear, if the Democrats win, they’ll think, He did it, now it’s our turn to retaliate. Then you destroy what was the ethos of the department — that it’s not overtly partisan.” “In my darkest moments, I think, maybe the premises on which our Constitution was founded are just not widely shared anymore,” the former Republican-appointed judge said. “What do we do then?”
Joe Ferguson forever Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) This really freaked me. Seems like a ruling on denying release of state voting records wouldn't bring about attempted murder.. I can't imagine she's well know in maga circles. Just horrible for her, her family and the neighbors. Scary stuff. Edited October 6 by Joe Ferguson forever 2 1 1

Why do you think democrats in general don’t have the character and decency to demand this dirtbag withdraw?

No idea what this guy would have against him or on colleagues honoring him. He was a centrist, pragmatic D and a fine man. 1

As with most democrats, that seems to be the case. Very weak. Very sad.

Very weak. Very sad. I think I missed a series of texts here. Fergie is like Rick James--super freaked about the fire, not so much about the democrat who is apparently pro-murder. He seemed to start off with the assumption that the owners of the home were the targets of a hit, but then segues to beloved politicians shaking hands like an old Southern gent and people not wanting to honor him. Can you fill in the gaps for me? The fire was awful, of course, as it would be for any family who lost their home. Thankfully the injuries appear to have been minor, and at this point it seems like there is no evidence of arson. I'd think we would all agree that's a good thing? 1

The timing of the fire is suspicious to say the least. Do your own work on the Jones case. 1 1
