BillsFanNC Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM Ummm you're already losing on public perception. Planes falling from the sky though... Dems must be using that pollster who said Iowa was going Kamala. 1

B-Man Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Just when you think that the democrat 'leaders' can't go any lower. They are slaves to the extreme Left. BREAKING: Speaker Johnson is FURIOUS after learning that Schumer plans to keep the government closed until AFTER an Antifa-involved "No Kings" rally in DC on Oct. 18 "It's being told to us they can't reopen the government until after that rally, because they can't face their rabid base!" "They have a Hate America rally scheduled for Oct. 18 on the National Mall. Pro-Hamas, Antifa people, they're all coming out. House Democrats selling T-shirts for the event." "I have HAD it with these people. They're playing games with real people's lives." Absolutely disgusting.
JFKjr Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It's allowing Trump to make cuts and trim the government. Win/win! 1 1
B-Man Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Shrinkage By Bill Glahn Are mass federal layoffs here? NBC News reports, Trump administration begins ‘substantial’ federal worker layoffs amid shutdown. Details, Affected agencies include the departments of Interior, Homeland Security, Treasury, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development and Health and Human Services, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, according to an administration official. What are they to do? Congress never passed a 2025 budget, apparently. The money ran out the last day of the fiscal year, September 30. Thanks to the Senate filibuster, Democrats won’t provide the votes to extend current spending levels. Starting next week, federal workers won’t get paid. In return for votes, Democrats want to reverse all of the gains made under Trump 2.0 in every area. So, there is no obvious way to resolve the impasse. It will certainly not be resolved as long as Democrats think they are winning. Republicans hold the White House and both houses of Congress. But, thanks to the filibuster, Democrats believe that they are in a position to dictate all government policy. The layoff notices are just a formality, a courtesy, if you will. Government is broke, de jure, and with $38 trillion in debt, broke, de facto. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/10/shrinkage.php#google_vignette
