There are a few reports out there giving Revens Todd Monken a lot of credit. The gist is the Ravens did a lot of quick snaps once they broke out of the huddle, not even motion a lot of times. You may ask why. Well the Bills do a lot of disguise and changing of the coverage at this last second. Bernard is the one setting up defense, while Rapp calling out secondary alignment. The Ravens pretty much screw the entire cadence to the point that some plays when Bernard was still assigning player positions and the ball was snapped. Result, the back 7 was out of position in a lot of plays. The one egregious play was called out on TV where  Bishop blitzed from a ridiculous distance from LOS. The reasonable explanation is that he was supposed to disguise by staying deep and then creeping up when the ball is about to be snapped; but Jackson snapped the ball so fast that Bishop had not even started the creeping up part.

Hell yeah!  Ed Oliver was awesome in that game.  At least someone was holding it down on D.  I actually thought the DL was pretty good, it was everything behind them that was problematic.

I've been critical of Bosa but in one of those plays Baldy highlights, Oliver gets the sack because Bosa is right there waiting and licking his chops when Jackson cuts back and tries to break out.  So Jackson goes "let's try the other way" and Oliver sacks him

A thing of beauty

It was not good I could say atrocious but I don't want to be mean lol

Bernard got washed out all game and I do like him.. he was in la la land

Seems to me that Bills like to try to disguise coverage then shift pre-snap

Seems to me that Ravens were coming to the line and snapping quickly, while Bernard was still trying to set the D or the back 7 were just starting to shift

We better figure it out because if that's what happened, NFL copycats stuff that works.

Of course, without the dual threat of Lamar passing and running and the dual run threat of Henry and Lamar, might not be the same shredding

I was shocked by how bad our LBers played. It was the one group I wasnt worried about.

Yeah I noticed that during the game. Bernard was still turned towards other players making signals when the ball was snapped. It was smart coaching.

oliver was so good

that was allpro level play

for sure

but i remember aaron donald being part of some pretty mediocre defenses if memory serves

maybe dt is just one of those spots

I just hope he keeps it up with some consistency this entire season !!

Humm... You must have missed the gaping holes Henry got to run thru...
