However, I’ve wanted Beane and McDermott replaced for at least four seasons now, so until they appear in a Super Bowl — I’m absolutely right. Maybe when you see a washed-up, 36-year-old Josh Allen wearing an LA Rams uniform and raising his first Lombardi trophy you’ll admit… “I guess Beane and McDermott weren’t so great…" We root for two different teams. I like my team way better than you like yours. Enjoy the season (if you can). 1 Quote

I’m critical because I care. I care about how the final legacy will be written for this era of Buffalo sports — we have a player who could legitimately be considered the most talented football player in NFL history. If this team cannot manage to even appear in a Super Bowl with him at QB, the “City of Losers” narrative will be forever etched on all of us. But go on, continue to blindly worship Beane and McDermott because they can beat the AFC East clown car of the Dolphins, Jets, and Patriots six times a year. 1 1 1 1 Quote
eball Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Thinking about it some more, this Carter news doesn’t even move the needle for me. He was not impactful on the field and while perhaps he was going to turn the corner I’d much rather see the rookies get more time. 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 They still haven't placed him on IR decided what they'll do with his Roster spot. Sal suggests it's possible they may just roll with the 4 they have, make DeWayne Carter inactive, and revisit the situation after Week 1. Odds are whomever the 5th DT is would likely be Inactive anyways. They must still be weighing the decision on who to bring up between Logue and Phillips and/or whom they'll sign to the PS to replace them. Quote

They don’t want to sign JP to the active roster before week 1 otherwise his contract is fully GTD Quote
