A few thoughts...

 

1. Kelly threw really nice long passes.

 

2. Chris Burkett's Pee Wee Herman celebration was awesome!

 

3. Lofton would have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in today's NFL.

 

4. Eric Moulds was really good.

LOL, I had the same thought. I remember clear as day the crowd exploding when TO caught that ball, and going wild when he did that "T.O." celebration arm thing on the sideline, facing the crowd. How could it not have been a home game? Just YouTubed it: indeed it was in Jacksonville -- but there were probably more Bills fans there than Jaguars fans!

Fun to watch. 

 

Loved:

1. The Russell Copeland TD they show the graphic that Kelly is 1-14  for 4 yards and 3 Ints before that play.

2. Ditka disgusted and spitting after the TD.

 

Allen's throws are effortless. 

Fergy - underrated.

Lofton - probably the best pure athlete that ever played WR for the Bills. So smooth. Honorable mention to Jerry Butler.

 

I think I was 10 when they drafted JD Hill. I thought he was going to be the next Paul Warfield.

Wait, what? Did Burkett rip off Bruce Smith -- or vice versa? The Pee Wee Herman was Bruce's signature sack dance his rookie year, if I recall correctly.

Those were fun to watch.  To this day I have no idea how Josh got that ball out vs. Jacksonville.  At that moment I “knew” we had our guy.

I was at the Game when Jerry Butler set Bills record with 255 receiving yards.

 

Moulds was incredible WR.

I was surprised to see the Chris Burkett td.  I started really following the Bills in ‘87.  I was just a kid and all I remember was him catching the ball and getting immediately tackled all the time.
