Let's say a band decided to do a special tribute show, where they did The Cars first two albums (Cars and Candy-O) in their entirety, would you go to see it?

I generally like tribute bands. Some are really good and some are meh, but I’d check out a Cars tribute band

I think playing sets of the best stuff from bands that have similar styles would draw a wider crowd.

1st set: all Cars

2nd set: all Cheap Trick 

3rd set: all Police 

A killer combo be 

1st set: all Depeche Mode

2nd set: all Bowie

 

……if you need a spoon player or wax paper comb musician, my cousin Virgil Lee Henry is the best. Let me know.

Cars 1st album, Cheap Trick’s ‘Heaven Tonight’ and Police ‘Zenyatta Mondatta…..they were their best albums imo.
