According to you, we live in a production business. If this true how do justify paying AJ and GROOT but not wanting to pay JAMES COOK. The niners, ravens and eagles have shown what having a dominant run game /back can do for your offense. In fact, if the Bills would have  just given Cook the ball in KC, we would have been he team in the Superbowl. Beane. get this deal done ASAP. Cook is our most explosive and consistent weapon on offense for Josh. We do not need any distractions heading into the season. He has earned a contract extension. Paying GROOT, a mediocre DE 20 million a year over Cook is crazy. LET JAMES COOK!!!!

RB is a dime a dozen. Cook is like the 15th best RB in the league. If they were going to pay that much they could have signed Barkley away from the Giants. I'm sure they were very aware of how much he was looking for

Its call bargaining, Every player want to be payed top of the market money. Its Beane job to figure that out. What I am really saying is, Cook is more deserving of a contract extension before any player on defense. What has  Benford, AJ and Groot done that is more deserving than Cook?  Cook is more important to Josh than a bunch of guys on defense who do not produce.
