Buffalo ill Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Love or hate death metal (I don't really listen to it), but Cannibal Corpse is legendary in the heavy music scene. Alex Webster is a/the golden standard for death metal bass. Hammer Smashed Face has possibly the heaviest riff ever. I only recently discovered King Buffalo and totally dig their music, but they are from Rochester. 1 Quote

A bunch of my Rush fan friends are following King Buffalo across the US, since Rush isn't available for their concert dollar anymore. 1 Quote
Poleshifter Posted July 1 Posted July 1 There was a band called the Buffalo Beatles way back in 1965 or so. Legally, they had to change their name, the became The Rogues. The lead guitarist had a Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar and a Vox Super Beatle amplifier - just like George Harrison used. That was a real wow factor back then. They were very talented. I don’t know who they were, but they were great. Quote
Wacka Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Saw them at Patrick Henry's (Main and Transit) later became Stage One when Harvey Weinstein bought it. Yes, that Harvey Weinstein (Harvey and Corky, the concert promoters). Quote
