US Egg Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I could see why Biden thought George Clooney was Clark Gable. 2

Same issue with senators on both sides. We will watch time catch up to Trump as he will be older than Biden by the end of his term. We definitely need an age limit to run for office at the Federal level, yet politicians won’t address that issue. Biden and his advisors betrayed the Democratic Party by concealing his decline and trying to run a second time. He said he was going to be a one term bridge, then his ego got too big. The democrat party shoulders the entire blame here. Absent an historically horrific debate, his supporters would have dutifully lined up behind him and cast a vote for him the first time. In fact, if he stayed in the race, the likely outcome was the same. Maybe the solution is to just accept that we’re often deceived, and not just feign outrage when our preferred candidate loses. 1

I agree. And deception of supporters happens on both sides as we are seeing with regret of many Trump voters.

The Biden team did no favors in helping Harris. If he declined to run a second time, they could have had a better process to choose the nominee. Still doesn’t mean that person would have beaten Trump. Voters were pissed about inflation and the border and that was a Dem problem.
Big Blitz Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Joe Biden is the result of being a career politician obsessed with power, money, and control. Portrayed as this “heroic” figure that campaigned from his basement during Covid, his voters - just as obsessed with power as he is - didn’t care that he hid. While the world was shut down to Covid, and a coup underway against Trump, Democrat voters cared nothing for the future of the Republic so long as the Orange Man not win. Future of the republic be dammed. Career politicians are only good at one thing. Giving the appearance that everything is well run - that’s because they’ve staffed every department and agency with career corrupt bureaucrats that carry out the orders and run the machine that works against the American people. That's why I could give 2 ***ts about how “well run” the bureaucracy is under Trump or not. Trumps people aren’t working for the good of the machine. They aren’t polished career bureaucrats. And that’s why they’re feared. Edited 6 hours ago by Big Blitz 1

The plan was Biden would get the support of the CBC in 2020 in exchange for him picking a black woman VP and she being run as the President in the next cycle. On the way Harris proved to be the worst VP ever and the Dems knew they couldn't run her so they went all in for Biden again because they had no one else. They couldn't nominate any other than those 2 because the CBC would have revolted and they would have surely lost the election.

Never heard that abbreviation. 2 minutes ago, Andy1 said: What’s CBC? Never heard that abbreviation. Never mind. First google gave me complete blood count🤷🏻♂️. Keeping the coalition of various subgroups together is always a challenge for the Dem leaders.

One would hope the major media outlets would investigate, using their vaunted inside sources for the greater good, and not shoulder shrug now that they were duped….or that it was someone else’s fault. But, since we cannot trust political operatives to do the right thing, and the media is not trustworthy, we do what we can do—support the agenda that most closely aligns with your values. This is why I never trusted polticians or liked politics to begin with. I was thinking there has got to be a way to guard Against this in the future.

I can’t speak to national trends, but I don’t know one Trump supporter that regrets their decision, or would revisit a vote for Biden or Harris.

Like I said earlier turrets is a difference between Biden ands my aunt who barley knows who here family is or knows Where she is even at and is mean to her daughter when she goes to see her.

Sure there's a difference between Biden and your Aunt, and sure he has moments of lucidity, but that doesn't mean he's fit for Office. Again if we could all see in clips that he was demented, it shouldn't have been hard for anyone who was around him a lot or someone who had occasional contact but saw these episodes, to raise the alarm and get the 25th amendment process going.

I said in an earlier post today that Biden, however bad he was, is not what we would want in office. I had imagined he was slipping but I didn't know how bad until the debate and it was obvious to everyone. I'm not like most people that disrespect older people. Sure they may forget a name or a date or whatever but they still poses a lot of wisdom, that is what I value. That debate pretty much handed trump the presidency. Edited 4 hours ago by 4th&long
