Dave in Avon Lake now Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Went to home game last year with my son who is a Dolphins fan so doing reverse this year. Looking for any good info on tickets. My daughter is a Bills fan and lives in Florida so may need as many as 5 tickets. Any recommendations on ticket outlets, where people stay and things to do while there. 1 Quote
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Go with the Bills Backers https://www.instagram.com/billsbackersmiami/ EDIT: these guys get a bus every year too, we've went with them: https://www.instagram.com/3sonsbrewingco/ Edited 7 hours ago by Slippery Rubber Mats 2 Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I'd try first going direct with the team (miami or buffalo) on single-game tickets if possible to avoid secondary market, even if it won't be a very good seat. Its probably a bit pricey but i think that's just how everything is now. Friend who is a ticket brokers advice is always - if you don't have a hookup (someone with seasons, business connection, someone who works for said team or stadium, etc.), you're better off waiting because of all the fee's. The initial blitz after these types of publicity stunts always results in higher prices. Season ticket holders pick out games to sell, brokers set the pricing and its going to drive the cost up. Prices will then fluctuate as the event gets closer. 1 Quote
Neo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I bought five this morning on StubHub. I’ve used that method for a few years. It’s not the cheapest, but “fees” are down since last year. Section 116, row 31. These are nice seats on the Bills’ side. My wife and daughter drive with me from Tampa. My sister and brother in law fly down from Buffalo. I think Slippery Rubber Mats had good suggestions. You might find less expensive seats than StubHub offers with the group outings. All that said, the NFL has made re-sales very difficult with their relationship with re-sellers. Everything’s digital and transferring seats is a challenge without StubHub or Ticketmaster. Perhaps others will know more. Interesting aside - why would the NFL partner with re-sellers when good old fashioned paper tickets worked for decades? Data - StubHub and Ticketmaster share all with the NFL. Because I have StubHub with an account that includes my home address, the NFL knows how much I spend to travel, lodge and eat in away markets for the Bills. I was asked by StubHub “which team will you be cheering for?” at purchase. My family stays in Lauderdale at the Marriott Harbor Beach. Lauderdale is the epicenter of Bills activity for the two or three days leading up to the game. The hotel actually “circles” the date when the schedule is announced. They know what’s coming and are very, very, accommodating to Bills fans. We’ve stayed in South Beach, also. South Beach is a great vacation area and has uncountable restaurant and entertainment options. Do you want to visit Miami (South Beach) or join an invasion (Lauderdale)? We’ve switched from South Beach to the invasion headquarters. My sister will tell you the plane ride is all in Bills Mafia - the flight attendants know it’s coming. There will be a pre game thread later in the season. There are few things more gratifying than wearing Bills gear in Miami during the Josh Allen era. We don’t even get harassed or hassled. The fan base is absolutely defeated. Lastly, best wishes with your son. Perhaps he’ll grow out of it! 1 Quote
Dave in Avon Lake now Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Thanks for suggestions. We lived in Miami when he (now 45) was growing up with Marino QB. He’s had a rough few eras to deal with, but last year I was impressed with how well Dolphins fans were treated at Highmark. 1 Quote

Trust me as I live in Tampa and went to this game many years. It’s always a fun weekend other than the four hour drive each way. Quote

We prefer South Beach (I don’t need to be surrounded by Bills fans) but you are dead on about the mentality of Fish fans in town. It’s a “don’t fight; just lay back and take it” kind of resignation. For about two minutes they thought Tua was going to lead them to greatness but now even they know it’s a lost cause. Warms my heart, truthfully. 1 Quote
