This is very cool and impressive.  The architecture of Buffalo is severely underrated by those who are not aware

In the 60’s, 70’s and into the 80’s Buffalo wasn’t concerned about preservation, lots of great buildings disappeared.

 

But we knew a 6-pack would get us through a snowstorm.

Absolutely! I’ve shared this here before but we have a neighbor who is a very prominent architect and author. He does super high end residential properties all over creation. He saw the Bills stuff in our house and said his wife was going to the beach with friends but he’s not a beach guy. Instead, he was flying to Buffalo the next day to do his own architectural tour. People who know, know. 

 

He did send me a pic of wings and beer the next day. I said you have to try the pizza too! Seconds later I get a pic of his pizza. He’s a man of fine taste.

people who love architecture know Buffalo has some of the best Gothic revival, art nouveau, art Deco , Victorian and Greek revival in the country 

 

We have some of the best architecture in the country

Very true … we also probably have some of the best examples of the Brutalist style which is …. 👎

Recalling when I worked at a local affiliate and we wanted some aerial video for news opens … we had to rent a helicopter and a $10,000 gyroscopic lens so the video wouldn’t be shaking, just to get one good shot low over the lake approaching the skyline. Wish we had drones then
