From what I read they had some dollars and years in mind and when the offers surpassed that they walked away. I'm starting to wonder whether Stearns is capable of running a big market team. I hope he has a backup plan because as my son said it's a bad week to be a Mets fan. 1

WTF is it with this team playing people out of position? Oh man, I didn't hear that. I assumed it was a precursor to a bigger deal involving the likes of Maurico/Acuna/Baty/Vientos. I'm at a loss but losing confidence in Stearns more and more each day. I posed this question yesterday: what's the best move Stearns has made since he's been here, Iglesias? Torrens? (I don't give him credit for Soto, that was all Cohen imo)

(I don't give him credit for Soto, that was all Cohen imo) It’s a great question and I’m gonna need some time to think about it. Soto was 100% Cohen. So was Pete’s one-year deal last offseason.
