B-Man Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Someone didn't use search, plenty of RFK/Vaccine discussion here.
B-Man Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Of course, my wife is basically a lib yoga instructor, she was getting worked up over how “disgusting” Trump/RFK are for how they rolled out this news. I said there was a major study at Harvard, authored by the dean of Public Health and with Mt Sinai. She then started reading an NPR piece.. First graph is an outline. 2, 3, 4 are a random public health person saying this is false and dangerous. 5 and 6 basically bag on Trump. Only on 7, second to last, does NPR mention almost in passing, that one of the country’s most prestigious academic institutions came to the same conclusion a month ago. That fact? Buried. I asked her - “You see the game now?” 1

Maybe, just maybe, the pregnant women who took more Tylenol had more health conditions during pregnancy, including, of course, fevers? That's what newer, better studies tried to control for. 1
JFKjr Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Weren't they just complaining last month that Trump was cutting into Harvard's funds for "research." Now they don't like the research coming out of Harvard! 1

You're going to have to link to what studies from Harvard you're talking about. Covid is 100% on point when discussing public health because covid is the A#1 reason why the public lost trust in public health institutions.

Take a breath and calm down. You got Trump largely on the back of covid lying. Covid is unquestionably one of, if not the biggest, world wide events of the past century. You do remember the world shutting down, right? And our public health institutions lied continuously throughout it. I used to work in vaccine formulation. I worked on projects with HHS/CDC. So even though everyone post 2020 can claim to be an expert in any field they choose to just by declaring it, I've actually worked in the trenches on this stuff. They lied. They got caught. Now their trust is shot. You're worried about aspirin? Wait until you see what happens if we get a antiviral resistant H5N1 flu pandemic in the next twenty years....we're ***** because they lied and now nobody is listening. 1 minute ago, teef said: take the kimmel nosense. who ***** cares? you do. you continually found any way to show that kimmel should be on the air, whether it be he was losing money or didn't have the ratings...no because there was pressure. ok. fine. now that guy is back on the air, and the mental gymnastics are amazing. you were agreeing with a tweet this morning that it was actually a democratic move all along to distract from charlie kirk? i mean are you serious? is there any common sense rather than just siding with your guy? not at all. no critical thought...just defending trump. No comment here I suppose? so we can't have any conversation about medical that doesn't involve covid. got it. and who cares what this tweet says. i was commenting on your post from earlier when you were so quick to agree with a completely ridiculous premise about kimmel being a liberal conspiracy. the other day a poster on here made the comment, "this is not about right and left...this is about good and evil!" like...what the *****. maybe, just maybe this has all gotten a bit to extreme. that's all i'm saying. do people here needlessly attack trump? yes. are there trump followers that will completely agree with anything they're told as long as it fits their agenda? yes. just because one side did bad doesn't mean the other has to get back. that's all this is right now is a pissing match, and intelligence has gone out the window long ago. 1 1
