How is the economy failed? Gas prices are down, Feds cut rates, inflation is cooling. Stock market is up.

When do you expect the invasion of Canada to happen? Springtime or more of a mid-summer timeframe? I worry about the US being able to wage war on two fronts.

Food, rent/housing, healthcare all up. 
 

Not sustainable and Trump needs to shut the **** up about the stock market.  
 

Thats not an accurate gauge on what Americans feel unless you’re completely disconnected from reality, which he currently is.  
 

Not all of this is his fault.  But he’s in charge and he doubled down on tariffs.  He, and by extension, the GOP are who now have to carry this burden.  

And we can talk about how trash the ACA is and how the subsidies are unsustainable, but once Americans get used to them, it’s political suicide to claw them back.   So what are you going to do about it?  You can message how technically these were covid era subisidies meant to be “temporary” (wink wink) and how they’re unsustainable.  Ok, cool. Thanks.  Now what… nobody cares when they get their new rates.  
 

Cant rainbows and unicorns message your way out of this.  Focus on the economy and work on healthcare affordability in these next 10 months or spend the final two years as President fighting impeachments and investigations.

I don't disagree with anything you're saying (I think) other than this part.

 

I don't think the "final two years" of Trump's presidency will be spent fighting impeachments and investigations.

 

His agenda is much larger than that.

 

If you'll recall his own words "this is NOT just another 4-year election."

Well I hope he gets around to it sometime.  
 

I applaud what he’s done at the border.  Thats not insignificant and a big reason why I voted for him.  
 

On deportations, all they’re doing is meme wars and getting chop blocked by random leftist judges.  Cant even figure out a way to deport Kilmer Abrego Garcia.  Obama deported more people.  And yes.. I understand the media/left is hypocritical on this and playing up false

stories, but you knew they would .. so what’s the plan?

 

Next Republican leader needs to be the one who solves the question of how to fix a country that is set up to allow open borders for years but then be unable to effectively remove those people.  
 

Deterrents and self deportations do seem to be working.. so credit there. 

 

On the economy, I’m open to giving him kudos if he turns this thing around but he only has so much time if the GOP is wiped out in the midterms.  Im not impressed with his tariff plan so far, and if there’s an end game relatively soon - ok - but constantly telling us how much money America is making when none of us see any of that is a ridiculous strategy.   Why should anyone struggling care how much money our country is making on tariffs?  What kind of messaging strategy is that?

 

And for the love of all that is good, shut up about the stock market. 

In regards to healthcare, they simply need to be better than “well here’s this wonky policy reason regarding Covid era subsidies and why this is a tax on American citizens” ok.. no one cares.  Just keep the subsidy in place if you don’t have a different plan then.  Not worth getting decimated politically over.

Now, legit US business had negotiated prices with Canadian suppliers in a fair market system, now facing tariffs of 55 to 60%. Why? The US does not have potash in the abundance required. Potash is no industry threat. Just to punish Canada, to hit the Canadian economy who happens to purchase more US made goods and service than any country in the world, times 2.

Today the reason surfaced. Trump removed sanctions and tariffs on potash from Belarus. Helped his best friend Putin.

It’s perfectly ok to disagree with everything Trump does and detest the man himself without making yourself look like an unhinged goofball. Even though most of the lefties here have failed miserably at that, you should give it a try.
