Watching JD Vance's presser now.

He's good at this. I don't think his preppy condescension does it for the masses like Trump's 5th grade vocabulary bludgeon. But to me, a would be elitist, he's good.

I despise JD Vance. I dislike Gavin Newsom. But Newsom is damn good at this too. Glib. Which for a politician is a backhanded compliment.

2028 debates could be fun!

Don’t sell yourself short. You are most certainly in the same class as Redhawk. Impressive!

Other than being a republican,  why do you despise jd but only dislike Newsome?

California has been ran into the ground.

You answered your own question. Keep in mind that Frankish describes himself as “fiercely independent”. True story.

I'll take this latest scolding like a man.

A fiercely independent man.

Worlds 4th economy is ran into the ground?  Despite the narrative GOP voter registration is 25%.  Just was in SF for a weekend. It was quite pleasant and enjoyable.

I’ve been to SF LA and SB in the last 2 years. It’s a little crowded and expensive but we always enjoy it.  I also drove thru Kansas and Nebraska recently.  Uhm. Talk about ran into the ground.

I have a friend born and raised in SF.  Liberal fellow, funny, smart and from a wealthy family, and we’ve disagreed about politics many times in the past.

Admittedly it’s been a while since we talked about San Francisco but he was quite disillusioned at the decline in standard of living he had seen of late last time we spoke.  Garbage, trash, drug addicts, human excrement all over the place, and squarely placed the blame of extreme liberal policies.

Perhaps they’ve fixed those issues, or maybe they’re kept out of view of visitors v allowing the locals to suffer, but how they even allowed it to get there was enough to keep me from voting for those people.
