Big Blitz Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Iβm sure this was posted somewhere.Β Β But it should be again:Β Β Β Β Now Iβm the FBI Director: We just uncovered burn bags/room filled with hidden Russia Gate files, including the Durham annex, and declassified them. Β Once again, I released the prior FBIβs own documents and exposed the truth. Β The same media is calling me a liar again. Β Maybe this FBI will release more docs directly, from FBI HQ... so we can see who is lying- wouldn't want to deprive the fake news of more bogus Pulitzers.Β Β And thenβ¦ πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈ 1

leh-nerd skin-erd Posted August 4 Posted August 4 On 8/2/2025 at 5:23 PM, The Frankish Reich said: So I took some time to read that Annex stuff. Β I think Ross Douthat just about sums up where I'm at on all of this: Β Then consider Russiagate, where we have cycled from one conspiratorial reading of the 2016 election to another: The resistance theory about malign Russian influence over Trumpβs campaign or Trump himself, which birthed the Robert Mueller investigation and a climate of hysteria, has given way to the Trumpist theory that the Obama administration conspired to promote a false narrative about collusion in order to cripple the Trump presidency from the start. In each case, the theories have been interpreting the same underlying conspiracy, largely hidden in 2016 but more visible since β a Russian information operation to undermine American democracy. But both theories, at least as I read the evidence, have ended up assigning too much conspiratorial agency to their domestic enemies, and too little to the Russians themselves. The anti-Trump side looked at how eagerly the Trump campaign responded to the 2016 email hacks and WikiLeaks dumps and assumed, they must be in cahoots with Putin. And now the pro-Trump side looks at the misinformation and motivated reasoning involved in the inception of the Russia investigation and assumes, they must have known that this was a fake story from the start. But in both cases, itβs quite possible that the only self-conscious Machiavellians were the Russians; it was their conspiracy, in which both Republicans and Democrats collaborated as marks. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/02/opinion/conspiracy-theories-epstein-russia.html Β Bottom line: - Russia did try to "influence" the election by making Hillary look bad (and in a 2-person race, by definition make Trump look good) - Trump's people eagerly played cheerleader - When it became clear that Trump's people (Manafort, Don Jr.) got a little too cozy with Russian assets, the Democrats eagerly played cheerleaderΒ - Politics is a dirty game Β Remember, Trump wasn't impeached over "Russia, Russia, Russia." It turns out that Russia did try to influence the election, and Trump's campaign was involved in a couple of ham-handed efforts at lending support ("collusion"), but, as the Mueller Report concluded years ago, that never amounted to much. Democrats had more than enough to genuinely believe that there was more there, but they also understood that simply the implication that there was more there was helpful to their cause. No one is pure as the driven lake-effect snow here, and that includes Trump. I think it's a step in the right direction that an anti-Trump voter acknowledges potential dirty tricks by Obama/Biden/Clinton and the dems.Β Β Β Β It seems silly to rehash the actions of Obama/Biden/Clinton attempts to influence the election, but I've long felt that Trump's Stop the Steal was a direct result of the Dems Illegitimate Election campaign.Β Β Following that logic, Biden/Garland's attempt to imprison Trump for life (and the other coordinated efforts to imprison him for, at worst, political dirty tricks) should be followed by Trump's efforts to imprison wrongdoers (criminally) and financially impact those that can be addressed on a civil level.Β Β Β 1
B-Man Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Β Anyone surprised ? Β Β Clapper Crew Threatened Whistleblower Who Refused To Sign Off On Fabricated Intel Assessment by Margot Cleveland Β A crony of then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper threatened to withhold a promotion from a senior intelligence official unless he concurred in the fake Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russiaβs meddling in the 2016 election, notes obtained exclusively by The Federalist show. The notes made public for the first time today recount a conversation the top analyst in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) had with an unnamed superior who worked closely with the then-Director James Clapper, according to sources familiar with the document. BillsFanNC Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 There are still far too many people, including those with large platforms, who frame this as a story the media simply botched. That is completely wrong. Framing it that way does a real disservice. The media was an integral part of the plot against Trump. Some outlets, like ABC, were working directly with and for the Clinton campaign. Others, like the Washington Post, were working directly with and for the intelligence services. Some did both. But none of them botched anything. They were part of the operation. 1
BillsFanNC Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 π¨ BREAKING: Russia Gate architects such as John Brennan are likely to be charged with CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, per Mike Davis "When you have an ongoing conspiracy, when you are covering up that conspiracy, the statute of limitations does not begin to start tolling. So this is ongoing criminal conspiracy." The specific charge could be conspiracy against rights under 18 U.S.C. Section 241 "I would say to these lawfare Democrats: lawyer up because justice is definitely coming," @mrddmia said This is in addition to perjury charges for lying in front of Congress. 1
