I'm surprised they didn't promote one of their own earlier to avoid this. From Athletic article: The Ravens’ offseason is not even a week old yet and their vaunted defense has already lost its defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald (head coach of the Seattle Seahawks), assistant head coach/defensive line coach in Weaver (defensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins) and defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson (defensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans) The Ravens are currently paying the price of that success. ngbills Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 Interesting stat. There were 17 changes in Off/Def Coordinators not due to a change in head coach. Of the 17 only 5 were internal hires.
