Then in combination with the NFL, weather experts, the airlines and a thousand other loose ends that need to be addressed to move the team on short notice, they came up with what they felt was the best plan. Unless you know all the details they do, saying you think they botched it just seems (sorry) dumb. Oh, and by the way. They're safely in Detroit, ready to play. Don't think there's an Uber for chartering a plane, so yeah they weren't leaving till Friday at earliest and by then storm was here. Arranging for a plane, then getting it there takes time.
