Legally dubious arguments Kroenke's team is making.

He chose to indemnify the others and now he's challenging his own letter of indemnification.

Doesn't make sense anyway.  Does he think he's going to offer and have accepted a lowball amount to STL and have the league pay for some huge other amount?  Why wouldn't he prefer to have the huge amount spread over all the owners, if he's bent on nullifying the indemnification?

Yeah. The suit is for over $1 billion and spread out among the other owners that’s about $32 million apiece. There’s no way he’s settling for less than that with St. Louis.  There has to be more to this story.

Basically his entire life is a giant swindle job...marrying a Walmart Heiress to access her money and connections, screwing over St Louis and now trying to screw over his fellow owners that allowed him to screw over Saint Louis.

Dude doesn't know how to stop...have a feeling this will not play out well in NFL circles.

No surprise, this is what elitists do then congratulate each other on screw job well done.

It's a jackass move by Kroenke's lawyers, but that only makes him the biggest jackass in a stable of jackasses. The remaining NFL owners would have no potential liability unless they were complicit in the St. Louis screwjob. NFL owners are a special club of self-interested pompous billionaires. I have trouble making myself single out Kroenke against the likes of Jerry Jones and Daniel Snyder.

Not just NFL, big business owners and politicians around the world.

And he agreed to be responsible for any and all issues arising from it. Case closed.

You clearly havent been around when lawyers get involved. The case is nowhere near closed. It hasn't even started. Words on the page can be subject to interpretation. He has lawyers. The NFL has lawyers. Even Florio, a lawyer himself and an NFL pr guy basically acknowledges:   "The language of the indemnity agreement leaves much to be desired". Judges at multiple court levels might get to weigh in. Without a settlement, which would be pushed along by the realization it is the quickest and cheapest way to resolve the issues, this is nowhere near done.

NFL did not follow their own rules setup for franchise relocation approval. They were complicit.

St Louis has a very strong case and that is why everyone is nervous and Kroenke is in settlement talks.

Since NFL allowed Rams to move, all the owners and NFL are on the hook.

If Stan had just moved unilaterally against NFL approval NFL could not stop him either.(see Raiders) But in that scenario likely only Stan would be on the hook for St Louis suits.

Smart cunning, even though unethical, move by Stan to lie about covering suits to get approval to move.

Lowlife assbag.

I agree.  I will  add that Ralph C Wilson was above this type of behavior.  Otherwise the Bills would have been gone long ago.  Ralph was not the best owner from a tactical football perspective.  But his integrity and commitment to the Bills in Buffalo cannot ever be questioned.

so Ralphs countless threats of moving the team and visiting other cites to discuss, was all to show his hard commitment to WNY?? 😂😂😂 really?? that's your take??
