A remaining FA pass rusher or the draft?

Yeah, especially if we get someone in the draft to develop.

You could a guy like you mentioned above on a one year contract while you develop the pass rusher you drafted.

I asked this to someone else in this thread as well.

If your pass rusher is there in the 20s, would you be open to trading up or do you feel we need all the draft capital we can get?

Even though Kerrigan has been relegated to a secondary role on the line, he would have value here as a player and mentor. Clowney, while not big in sack numbers, is still disruptive and good against the run.

Phillips has a second round grade and at least 50% of the mock drafts machines I have done still have Rousseau there. Some teams will not want to draft a 20 year old. The QB run will push a lot of talent into the high 20s.. if teams get enamored with the top RBs and WRs then one of them will be there.

“Second round pick” By whom? If it weren’t for Phillips’ concussion issues, he’d be a top 10-15 pick. He’s going to either be a first rounder or be off draft boards because of his concussion issues. Anyone who’s grading him in the 2nd probably shouldn’t be paid attention to because that’s bad. And Mock draft sites are not and should not be used as any sort of evidence of draft range except for in VERY broad terms — especially this far out.

QBs will push the Kadarius Toneys and Wyatt Davises of the world down. They won’t push elite edge rushers down.
