The end of the line. The Bills season finishes with a game against Miami for the second year in a row. But this time, the game is in Orchard Park. And this time, there’s very little at stake for either team.

Here are the top storylines this week, as the Bills finish off 2018 with a game against the Dolphins:

1. WHAT DO THEY PLAY FOR?

2. DOLPHINS COME IN WITH ISSUES

3. QB QUESTIONS ALSO WITH MIAMI

4. JOSH ALLEN LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK

5. REVENGE MATCH?

6. LAST DANCE FOR SOME VETERANS?

7. HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE?

Biscuit wore number 55 at one point. I learn something every time I watch one of those old clips.

Yes, he wore 55 when first acquired from the Colts. He adopted his Collegiate # 97 from his Alabama days in 1990 . It became available with the departure of LB Scott Radecic to the Colts in the offseason.

Haha. Good to know. Hard to believe Radecic didn't immediately cede the number! Never heard of him.

Yeah, that part seems strange . Not sure why he didn’t, though Radecic was a valuable reserve and filled in nicely for the oft-injured Shane Conlan when called upon. Pretty sure Radecic is now an architect and was directly involved with the latest round of renovations at NEF oddly enough.

  • 26CornerBlitz changed the title to Week 17: Dolphins Game Preparation - Bills 4 to 4.5 Point Favorites; Thursday Injury & Practice Reports Posted

Orchard Park, N.Y. -- The numbers don't tell the whole story when it comes to Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

In his first season the Bills rank 31st in the NFL in total offense and 31st in pass offense. Star running back LeSean McCoy is having the worst year of his career (3.2 yards-per-carry) behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league.

The circumstances are notable, though.

Daboll lost the two most important cogs of his offensive line - Richie Incognito and Eric Wood - before training camp even started. He's had to prepare five different quarterbacks to play this season - Josh Allen, Derek Anderson, Matt Barkley, Nathan Peterman and AJ McCarron. And his best receiver is an undrafted free agent (Robert Foster) who needed to get cut halfway through the season before he started to figure things out.

Despite the offense's struggles, Daboll's name has popped up as a potential head coaching candidate. He addressed those rumors on Thursday in his final media availability of the season. Plus he talked about Allen's development, Foster, the run game and more.
