Buftex
I think he started one with the Bears, and one with the Bills...both losses!
gmac17
he started 27 playoff games, all wins. Don't you remember the game against the Jets when he threw for 4 touchdown passes, ran for 2 more and did volunteer work at the local YMCA during halftime? The Jokeman
I think he started one with the Bears, and one with the Bills...both losses! 286443[/snapback] Correct, We all know about his playoff to Miami with us. Going back to 1986 he lost with the Bears according to http://www.bearshistory.com/seasons/1986.html The Bears entered the playoff game as heavy favorites. During the bye week before the game, the whole world wondered who Mike Ditka would choose to start at QB. Would he go with the experienced but unimpressive Mike Tomczak or Steve Fuller, or the newbie Flutie? In a move that divided the team, Ditka chose Flutie. Chicago began the game against the Redskins by scoring an early Flutie to Gualt TD pass, and went up 7-0. It was all downhill after that, however, and Chicago lost 27-13. The city was in depression, but felt the dynasty would still be alive in '87.
