Pro ready from day 1.  Would love to see him in Red, White, and Blue.

If he starts from day 1, I could easily see him getting injured. He needs to hit the weight room more.

I also wonder why he didn't put up better numbers in college. His passer rating the last three years ranked 31, 47, and 61 out of 125 qbs. Not too impressive for a guy some people want to mortgage the future for. I think he looks the part with his mechanics, footwork, etc., but he has never impressed me as a football player. I think he lacks heart, will, and commitment to be the best. I think he could just as easily get paid and walk away as become a successful pro. No way would I give away the draft to take a chance on this guy.

The UCLA team that was around him wasn't exactly a juggernaut and I think Rosen will be fine at 6'4 225 lbs.

I can see the Giants taking him. It simply makes too much sense.

The Giants havent drafted in the top 5 since they drafted Rivers in 2004; before that 1996. A winning franchise like the Giants rarely ever drafts this high and now has a chance to reset for the next 15yrs by taking a blue chip QB simply by staying put. Eli plays one more season and Rosen starts in 2019.

You just don't turn down the bevy of picks that would be offered for a QB at #2 to take a non-QB.  I would be shocked if QBs don't go 1-3 (potentially even 1-4).  The Giants are going to grab this kid, groom him for a year, then kick Eli out of town.
