Looks to be election related.

Please take it easy on me for this one rhino because I am actually being sincere about it and would like your knowledge/opinion. Why would there be multiple indictments if Russia or Russians had nothing to do with the election?

You're conflating points designed to distract you.

No one, certainly not me, has denied Russia meddled in the election. They've meddled, or tried to meddle, in every election we've had this century.

The issue is whether they actively worked with Trump or his campaign to FIX the election.

Those are very different charges. One is real. One is propaganda.

By charging these 13 here (still reading the indictment) Mueller is sweeping away the real Russian meddling and setting the stage for the next phase of his investigation. Which will get down to the collusion of it all (or my theory, the corruption of it all).

So, to stay on a previous topic, do think that the indictments offer proof that Bernie's campaign also colluded with the Russians?

There's certainly a chance. Depends on Muellers other evidence.

And again, everyone is ignoring that these Russians first started working to "help" Bernie's campaign and then moved onto Trump when it became obvious that Bernie wasn't going to win the nomination, and Trump was.  Why is nobody questioning how an out of touch socialist senator who started with 3% in the polls suddenly rose to a near upset?

The goal clearly was to disrupt the free elections.  Nobody has ever denied that.

And Apparently not. From the indictment:

Agreed. So far there's no evidence or claims Trump or his campaign were aware of the nationalities of who they were talking to.

The indictment also points out this same group was flooding anti-Trump propaganda as well as anti-HRC propaganda (chaos is the desired outcome, not a specific candidate winning).

Read Sec. 43.  It's the same evidence as for Trump.  No collusion, but clear intent by Russia to affect the election.

No collusion with these 13 individuals.

i am of the opinion that Mueller has plenty of evidence nobody knows about.

Still reading... waiting for the press conference to start... but this all started in 2014 - over a year before Trump was even a candidate. The goal, from this indictment, sure seems to be sowing chaos on all sides rather than actively working to boost one candidate over the other.

Which... is what many people have been arguing was the true goal for over a year now.

I'd also note the number of FARA violations included here (corruption of K-Street), certainly fits the pattern I've seen to date.

I take this as a clearing of the decks - nail the Russians who meddled, clear the way to get down to the real question of Mueller's probe: collusion.

(But let's see what RR says in a few moments here)

Doubtful he has evidence of collusion, but probably tons on Trump's & Kushner's private dealings that have nothing to do with the election.

Money laundering, identity theft (getting illegal VISAs to enter the country), and FARA violations.

"Defendent ORGANIZATION had a strategic goal to sow discord in the US political system, including the 2016 US presidential election."
