Cinci is Better and Played Better

btw Zay Jones is a bust...time to admit this guy is not likely to get good...he'll be lucky to end up a Goodwin-level player when its all said and done

Way too early to call him a bust. But one thing is clear: the people who thought that the 37th overall pick from East Carolina would actually be as good as (or better!) than Sammy and/or Robert Woods were, umm, a bit delusional ... I think he'll be better than Goodwin, but "the Goodwin Line" is actually a reasonable approximation of where the useful/not game changing WR stands, as evidenced by the fact that Goodwin actually was signed to a decent free agent contract.

Fans in every city think their GM got some kind of screaming secret deal in the draft. Sorry, but the draft is pretty much an efficient market - the 37th pick will, on average, bring 37th pick value. You might get lucky, but getting lucky is not the same thing as a reasonable expectation.

EDIT: back on topic ... And Cincy is, objectively, better. Not by a wide margin, but better. The somewhat better and somewhat healthier team won at home in a close game. Nothing surprising here, and it tells us absolutely nothing about the 2017 Bills that we didn't already know.

Cinci are a worse team than us, they got some breaks from the refs, they were gifted first downs while they took them from us. They turned it over multiple times, the complete lack of a passing game and the fact we have no depth at CB was all that won them this game.

"We are a better team but our glaring holes on offense and lack of depth in a unit we entire revamped in one offseason lost it... but we are better"

Generally agree. Though a think he's got more in common with woods in bring a productive and polished product early on day 2 instead of a raw and huge upside guy late on day 2
