Mitts is Sick!

Wow! What a goal.

That behind the net angle really shows what amazing hands CM has.

Total individual effort by him on that play. He stripped the puck, and then turned both the defenseman & goalie inside out.

I get more more and more excited every time I see this kid play!

Why?

Small crowd, all good natured and having fun, even the Slovak fans I think/hope felt welcome. I would guess 20 people in lower bowl ( I was one of few in upper deck and can see everything)with Canada jerseys on,,, many drunk, belligerent , offensive to the entire crowd. Many having to be thrown out after offensive gestures after Slovak goals.

I am no puritan, but to offend another country whist you are in that country , not a good look.

That’s good,  but they Canadians so talk slow, and plan on repeating 3 times till they understand!

heading to the stadium now, should be plenty of brilliant Canadians in the lots by now:lol:

Wow. No way. The Sabres won. I am in total shock (about numerous things).

They won against a very good team.

They came back from behind and didn't blow it.

A replay review actually went their way! (seriously, I'm not joking...)

And they won in overtime.

None of these things usually happen. I'm amazed... lol.

So happy to get a win. I was so damn sick of thr losses in OT (and regulation).

Happy for the Sabres players too. Now they can really enjoy their New Year's Eve in NYC and go into the Winter Classic on a good note, with a positive attitude coming off a great win.
