Happy Days Lois & Clark
Constantin Ritzmann Tennessee DE 6-4 265 Ritzmann is a German-born exchange student who only played one season of high school football. He was redshirted in 2002 after tearing his left ACL. Ritzmann is much stronger rushing the passer than he is against the run. He is a raw talent that might be a worthy gamble for an NFL team. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...yers/46992.html http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=211&p=8&c=1&nid=670247 http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/constantin_ritzman http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article? Dan Gross
As I said in another thread, I had no idea he was on the roster until I saw him on the "final" depth chart.
Astrobot
I think he's our fastest DE, yet he doesn't overpursue. Very fast off the ball. I hope he gets in on some pass rushes to give Kelsay (or Schobel) a breather now and then.

He made a lot of plays, including a sack last games.

And you're right, I watched the Indy game until just before Brown's injury and really didn't pay much attention to the second half of the last one. Black ICE
Constantin Ritzmann was kept at urging of ST Coach April; he was special teams player and captain. I think he will be the next Mark Pike. Maybe Bills will get a chance to show off our new Germany DE in a pre-preseason game in Germany next year. I think Germany has passed Canada in number of fans of "American" football.

Mark Vader
I only saw the Denver & Detroit games, and I noticed how fast this guy is. People will say, yeah but he did it against 3rd teamers, but so what. He has tremendous potential. What a great story he is too, being german born and making it on to the starting roster of an NFL team on his first attempt. I think the Bills have found someone special here. MadBuffaloDisease
amen to that. somebody had better say it. its the fricking truth. why in the world do we have so many white DE's on this team?? 19568[/snapback] Because of his ego? No wait, because he can't draft in the lower rounds? No, because he liked their interviews? Stop me if I'm getting warmer.
Guest Guest_Billsindallas_*
I watch this kid play in the Tenesee preseason game and his play was very impresive. After cleanly beating the left tackle with first and outiside move and then an inside move Tenesee started double teaming him. He loo9ked extremely quick, far faster than the forty yard dash posted on his scouting report. I wonder if it is possible that he was hurt when he was timed at the combine. Who cares? As long as they get sacks and pressure the QB's, and cause fumbles, then I do'nt give a damn what their skin color is. I do'nt see anybody questioning why all of our Tight Ends are white, or why all but one of our Linebackers are black.
