Maybe demote him. Pagano and Rex coached together in Baltimore. Just a thought. Just about anything would be a upgrade from Thurmon ! I also think Pettine will be looking for a job at the end of the season that would be a huge plus if they brought him back & Rex just let him run the D . This, Rex is the HC and real DC, Thurman is just a place holder and yes man for what Rex wants on defense. No way Rex brings in somebody else. apuszczalowski Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Why would Rex need a consultant?he doesn't because he is a defensive genius, he might need another puppet to keep the masses entertained though. Rex won't bring in a consultant for his defence (except maybe his brother) and he won't be ditching Thurman unless again it's for his brother. Rex's defence is perfect, all it needs is all new special hard to find players to replace the current players so he could take the really good defence he was handed and replace it with a defence that will rank at best the same as the one he was given.
