Rex's revenge

In Rex Ryan's dramatic return to MetLife Stadium, his Buffalo Bills won an ugly contest over the New York Jets. Something tells us Ryan wouldn't have it any other way.

Rex loses it

The Jets didn't say a word leading up to Thursday night's Bills-Jets game. Rex Ryan said plenty. And when Tyrod Taylor's knee went down to end the game, Rex celebrated like something between a Super Bowl champion and first-time father.

Just a casual win over a divisional opponent to keep a season alive. Probably shake some hands, pump your first once and call it a day. Or lose your mind on the sidelines. Whatever works.

Nantz and Simms TNF Recap (2:29)

Rex in effect
Breech: Rex Ryan wanted this one bad, and his defense delivers, snuffing out a late Jets rally for a win that puts the Bills squarely in the AFC wild-card hunt.

It's already posted in this thread.

They edited a couple parts out ;)

I have to say, we should give props to our backups on the DL, even though we gave some big runs, we also came up with plenty of big stops... not having Kyle and Mario is rough, but the backups stepped up and kept us from getting blown out.

our punter handed the jets the ball on the 15 yard line where the Jets could take the lead at the end and our offense completely stagnant to be able to answer if they did score - and somehow the defense kept them out. Major props to everyone on the field and the coaches. Edited by YoloinOhio

I thought the LBs played very well too. Really "fit it up" in there!

@StillTalkinTV

My assessment of CBS' telecast for The NFL Network of Bills win over Jets http://talkintv.buffalonews.com/2015/11/13/simms-nantz-had-a-game-worthy-of-cbs-top-announcing-team/

The Buffalo Bills surely made their armchair fans shout as loudly as Coach Rex Ryan did after his new team’s 22-17 victory was assured over his old team, the New York Jets Thursday night.

But through the missed extra point, the missed blocks and the missed coverages, there was the calm, reasoned voice of CBS analyst Phil Simms.

Even the online membership of Simms haters had to admit that he and his CBS play-by-play partner Jim Nantz didn’t miss too much on CBS coverage for The NFL Network telecast.

Simms not only was on the ball explaining Jets Coach Todd Bowles’ plan to blitz Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, he was quick to opine on Bowles’ somewhat controversial fourth-down decisions and Ryan’s challenges of calls.
