I was in first grade, and my class had been reading and studying about the Challenger mission. We were all excited to watch the launch live in the school auditorium. Well, I got sick and had to stay home from school that day. Sitting on my couch in my pajamas watching when it happened. Wow. I remember crying my little eyes out. What a tragedy.
