I am serious. Exposure to liberal values reduces religious and political extremism. For example, we are off to a good start in Syria. Al-Sharaa seems to be embracing western liberalism. It will take time no doubt. Ending conflict in the Middle East will be a good stepping stone. 
 

Islam is a spectrum like any religion. There are progressive Muslims and very orthodox ones, inasmuch as there are progressive and Orthodox Jews and Christians. There are billions of Muslims who go about their days peacefully. 
 

The threat of some kind of massive Islamic invasion is so minute that I laugh every single time some right wing talking head mentions it. No, Sharia Law will never be instituted in the U.S.
