Canadian Bills Fan Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) Hey guys, With all the draft talk going on, I thought to start a thread where we can make player comparisons to help give some of us an idea of how a certain player might look in the NFL. I'll get the ball rolling with Johnny Manziel. I think he compares to Jeff Garcia. He may lack the ideal height but he can certainly make plays with his feet. CBF I assume we are talking about style more than skill. Is this correct? If so: I think that AJ McCarron plays like Schaub did before he fell off the cliff. I also think that Aaron Murray plays in the style of Drew Brees. This is not to say that either kid will be as good as those to whom I compare them. Especially Brees, who is literally great. I like the Murray-Brees comparison. I've thought that as well. I think if he's available in the 3rd or later, you roll the dice. Sammy Watkins - A slightly smaller version of Andre Johnson. Greg Robinson - Tyron Smith (Yeah, he's going to be good). Eric Ebron - Vernon Davis with a little less speed. Many of the same traits, though. Jake Mathews - Jordan Gross. Khalil Mack (Don't think there's a chance in hell he's there, but just for fun) - Terrell Suggs.
