No disagreement that Dixon will take time to get up to speed and learn our offense. Dixon was signed by the Iggles last February and went through OTAs and training camp with them. Released 30 Aug. He's been out of football since August 30, not since last season. Maybe it has happened before with Pstorini and Dickey years ago but I can not rememeber a team going into the season with it's top 2 QBs having no games under their belt and no experienced backups. I just don't get it...... Okay. What experienced veteran backup was available between Aug 24 when Kolb got concussed and Aug 30 that you think they should have signed? They did bring in Leinart and Lewis. The big mistake IMO was buying into the Kolb hard knocks story "Kolb isn't made of glass, AZ OL is horrible and he had some bad luck".
