Patriots messing with Field

Bob Kraft, the owner of the Patriots makes me want to vomit. I know people of have dealt with him both on a business level and let's just say he is not Mr. Popularity. Did you get a gander of that fat slob busting out of his shirt in the luxury box last year at the SB? Smug and arrogant............like their fans.................

Their fans shell out ridiculous prices including astronomical parking fees, etc. and they get jack back. I guess when you are winning it doesn't matter. Their team is getting old, they are losing coaches in key positions. We'll see how much longer this team can hold up. After next year I wouldn't be surprised to see them crash and burn. And their fair-weathered fans will be howling and spitting in their chowder. Mark my words.

GO COLTS

GO STEELERS

Ge, the Pats cheating again?  Couldn't be.  In any case, the weather forecast at present has snow falling tomorrow, but temps in the mid-30's on Saturday and Sunday to melt whatever snow there might be.  And the field will be hard, favoring the Pats.  What I WOULD look out for is the Pats "accidentally" watering the field early Sunday morning.

Apparently you did not read or chose to ignore that the field is protected from freezing with heating elements underneath. So your field will be hard, favoring the Pats comment is foolish.

P.S.

Don't worry, Belichick thinks of everything. I'm sure there are plans already in the works.

Well the NFL shouldn't allow this sort of stuff to happen, whether or not the rules explicitly say something one way or another. It's much worse than letting the doors open to help the wind. This is putting people's health at risk both the Colts' and the Pats'.

i'm no pats fan, but good for them. football should be played in the elements, and dome stadiums are a plot hatched by the devil himself.

Yeah, usually the guy who wins, in sports and business, isn't Mr Popularity. As far as prices go, we're happy to pay. Kraft put his money where his mouth is. Can't say the same for the Colts owners. They want the fans (taxpayers) to foot most of the bill, and reap the rewards themselves.

Colts already crying and making excuses....and you guys still think that they are going to beat the Patriots?

I guarantee the Patriots will be defeated by the Colts. The Patriots are scared. They have basically NO secondary against perhaps the greatest statistical quarterback, in his prime, on a hot streak.

The Colts want this game more than the Patsies do. Ergo...

I GUARANTEE a victory for Indianapolis.

the Pats are done that is exactly why they are trying to pull a rabbit out of their hat. The luck has run out. This game will be over before halftime. The dynasty finally falls.

The stadium is new, novel and it houses a Champion. When this team falls from grace it will be ugly around here. I guarantee it.

I respectfully disagree with this statement. Everyone knows that when the Pats crash and burn, their fans don't howl and spit. They hide...never admitting they really cared about the Pats all that much, and spend much more time cheering the Red Sox.

You people are all so full of sh--.

If the Bills were playing in Foxboro on Sunday, we would all be crying "FOUL!!" so hard over this, it would make the ridiculous stink over the Music City Miracle pale, in comparison.

204440[/snapback]

On the other hand, if the Bills were the ones doing this, we'd think it's brilliant.

I like the move, personally, and it makes me wish we would do similar things at RWS.

It's called home field advantage. I'd do the same thing.

I do think Belichick's quote was a riot though...

"My job is not to pull weeds, or rake the field," Belichick said. "I have a lot of other things to do."

Bill - do you really have to insult our intelligence that badly? "I'm just a powerless 9-5 lunchpale, pop-warner coach. I have no control over this stuff. Go talk to Groundskeeper Willie - he's really the guy in charge".
